It is official – we are now a member of the Africa Travel & Tourism Association (Atta) and the Hospitality & Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB)!
Africa is brimming with superb safari destinations along with a myriad of safari tour operators, accommodation types and transfer companies. This can make planning an African safari quite daunting, particularly if you are already unsure from the outset of who to trust with this special task.
Liquid Giraffe has this month been accredited with full membership status for both HATAB and Atta. This means that we are now formally recognised for our superior safari service provided in Botswana specifically (HATAB) and in other African countries more generally (Atta).
The aim of both associations is to promote and maintain standards of excellence in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry within their respective mandated areas. We meet the strict guidelines set out by both and are held accountable for consistently upholding each organisation’s code of conduct and rules.
Being an Atta member means we have access to breaking news, current developments and travel advice for safari destinations across Africa. Through networking opportunities and informative seminars, we can constantly work on improving the safari experience we create for you.
HATAB ensures “all visitors, both from within and outside Botswana, enjoy consistently high standards of service from the entire hospitality and tourism industry”, which complements the government’s low quantity, high quality approach to travel.
As the safari industry intersects closely with the natural environment, wildlife and community, both associations work towards making responsible tourism a reality for travel in Africa. We carefully select our suppliers to ensure that we are working with companies that uphold sustainable and ethical practices.
