Day 1: Johannesburg – Kasane
South African Airlink flight departing OR Tambo International airport to Kasane arriving, early afternoon. After clearing customs and immigration, you will be met in the arrival hall by your driver guide from Chobe Safari Lodge. Short 20 minute road transfer to Chobe Safari Lodge.

Day 1 & 2: Chobe Safari Lodge Lodge, Kasane
2 nights’ accommodation in a twin chalet as follows:
Fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, 2 game drives and 2 boat cruises. Park fees, drinks and laundry are excluded.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of Chobe River and borders Chobe National Park.
All the 68 luxury rooms have en suite bathrooms with bath and a shower, air conditioners, satellite TVs with 8 channels, telephone, safe and fan. All the rooms have stunning views of Chobe River.

Day 3: Chobe Safari Lodge to Gunns Camp
Chobe Safari Lodge will transfer you by road to Kasane Airport in time for your light aircraft transfer with Moremi Air to Gunns Camp. Your Moremi Air pilot will be waiting for you in the airport to escort you through security and to your plane. Your flight time will be communicated with you the day before by the receptionist at Chobe Safari Lodge. You must have your passport to pass through security – even for internal flights within Botswana.

A guide and vehicle from Gunns Camp will meet you at Ntswe airstrip and transfer you to the camp. When you arrive at the camp, you will be briefed about the camp.

Day 3 & 4: Gunns Camp, Okavango Delta
2 nights’ fully inclusive in a twin tent. The camp offers walking excursions with an armed professional guide, boating and fishing along the water lagoons and mekoro excursions.

Overlooking the legendary Chiefs Island and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, Gunn’s Camp is one of the last few remaining luxury, vintage safari camps. The accommodation offered at Gunn’s Camp consists of 6 fully furnished, deluxe Kenya-style Meru tents set on raised platforms with en-suite bathrooms featuring stand-alone baths and outside private showers.

Day 4: Gunns Camp- Pom Pom Camp
You will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your Moremi Air flight to Pom Pom Camp. Your flight time will be communicated with you the day before by the camp manager at Gunns Camp.

When you arrive at Pom Pom airstrip, a guide and vehicle from Pom Pom Camp will be waiting for you. The drive to camp is a short drive depending on what game you see along the way. When you arrive in the camp your guide/manager will brief you about the camp.

Days 4 & 5: Pom Pom Camp, Okavango Delta
2 nights fully inclusive in a twin room (double beds are available on request).

The camp offers day game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles as well as motorized boating and mekoro (dug out canoe) excursions.

Pom Pom Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. Accommodation consists of nine luxury safari tents in true traditional safari style, all with full en-suite semi open ablution facilities. The tents are uniquely positioned with overlooking views of the Pom Pom lagoon.

Day 6: Pom Pom Camp- Maun
You will be transferred to Pom Pom Airstrip for your Moremi Air flight to Maun Airport in time to check in for your fight to Johannesburg departing Maun around 14.00. Your flight time will be communicated with you the day before by the camp manager at Pom Pom.

The prices include fully inclusive stays at all camps, all light aircraft transfers, meet and greet services in Maun, Okavango Air Rescue, all park/concession fees and taxes but exclude all international or regional flights to/from Botswana, travel insurance, gratuities and items of a personal nature

We strongly recommend and support Okavango Air Rescue insurance. Okavango Air Rescue brings medical assistance directly to you, by helicopter, if you have a medical emergency. The cost has been included in your itinerary. For $22 per person, you will have access to the following services:
  • 24-hour emergency call centre
  • Fully qualified paramedic and fully equipped helicopter to treat and stabilise patients on the spot before transporting patients to the nearest appropriate location.
