Day 1: Johannesburg – Maun
South African Airlink flight departing OR Tambo International airport to Maun, arriving early afternoon. After clearing customs and immigration, you will be met in the arrival hall by a representative from Liquid Giraffe and Moremi Air. Shortly after your arrival you will be flown by light aircraft to Tau Pan Camp.

A guide and vehicle from Tau Pan will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to the camp. When you arrive at the camp, you will be briefed about the camp.

Day 1 & 2: Tau Pan Camp, Central Kalahari
2 nights fully inclusive in a twin room (double beds available on request). The camp offers game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, star gazing, bush brunches on Tau Pan, and nature walks with Bushman trackers.

Tau Pan is located in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The specially designed thatched units are set on raised decks overlooking the vastness of the Kalahari Desert. The camp offers truly incredible views from the ridge of an ancient sand dune, an unusual experience in a land as flat as Botswana, and overlooks the famous Tau Pan – recognized for its stark beauty and remoteness.

Day 3: Tau Pan to Little Kwara
You will be transferred to Tau Pan Airstrip for your Moremi Air flight to Little Kwara Camp. Your flight time will be communicated with you the day before by the camp manager at Tau Pan Camp.

A vehicle from Kwando safaris will be at the airstrip to meet you and transfer you to the camp. Your guide will then brief you about the camp.

Day 3 & 4: Little Kwara Camp, Okavango Delta
2 nights fully inclusive in a twin tent (double beds available on request). The camp offers day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, walking excursions with an armed professional guide, boating, seasonal catch and release fishing along the water lagoons and mokoro excursions.

Little Kwara is a small intimate camp of only 5 tents situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The luxury tents are nestled under the shade of tall trees on raised platforms and each have a wonderful view over the floodplain. The game viewing is plentiful in this concession with most plains game as well as top predators such as lion, leopard, wild dog, cheetah and spotted hyena.

Day 4: Little Kwara to Lebala Camp
You will be transferred to Kwara Airstrip for your Moremi Air flight to Lebala Camp. Your flight time will be communicated with you the day before by the camp manager at Little Kwara Camp.

When you arrive at Lebala airstrip, a guide and vehicle from Kwando safaris will be waiting for you. When you arrive in the camp your guide/manager will brief you about the camp.

Days 4 & 5: Lebala Camp, Linyanti
2 nights fully inclusive in a twin room (double beds are available on request). The camp offers day and night game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles and seasonal bush walks.

Lebala is situated adjacent to the head waters of the Linyanti marshes that form the boundary between Botswana and Namibia. This special ecosystem is home to a wide variety of Africa’s plains game such as zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe and tsessebe and also provides refuge to lechwe, waterbuck and the shy sitatunga. The custom designed tents, with unique mosquito net walls, allow an unobstructed flow of cooling breezes and stunning views. Each spacious tent has its own viewing deck, bathroom and luxurious double outside showers.

Day 6: Lebala Camp to Maun
Moremi Air will fly you by light aircraft to Maun Airport in time to check in for your fight to Johannesburg departing Maun at around14:00. Your flight time to Maun will be communicated with you the day before by the camp manager at Lebala Camp.

The prices include fully inclusive stays at all camps, all light aircraft transfers, meet and greet services in Maun, Okavango Air Rescue, all park/concession fees and taxes but exclude all international or regional flights to/from Botswana, travel insurance, gratuities and items of a personal nature

We strongly recommend and support Okavango Air Rescue insurance. Okavango Air Rescue brings medical assistance directly to you, by helicopter, if you have a medical emergency. The cost has been included in your itinerary. For $22 per person, you will have access to the following services:
  • 24-hour emergency call centre
  • Fully qualified paramedic and fully equipped helicopter to treat and stabilise patients on the spot before transporting patients to the nearest appropriate location.
