The name Qorokwe means \u201cthe place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water\u201d. When you explore the area, you will see why this name suits the location perfectly. \u00a0It is a world of diverse Delta habitats supporting a wealth of wildlife, earning the area\u2019s well-deserved reputation as a top Botswana safari destination.<\/p>\n

The Wildlife at Qorokwe Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wildlife is abundant all year round at Qorokwe Camp as the Qorokwe Concession has permanent water sources all year round. Some of the wildlife that guests can expect to see are herds of giraffe, zebra, lechwe, elephants, and of course the buffalo. There are also the larger predators roaming around the concession such as the local lion pride (comprising some 15 members).<\/p>\n

Accommodation at Qorokwe Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n

The luxurious accommodation at Qorokwe Camp consist of eight elegant tented suites and one very spacious family unit with its own splash pool. All the rooms have en-suite facilities and an indoor\/outdoor shower.<\/p>\n
