Kanana Camp

The two-level Sleep Out Deck at Kanana Camp – positioned on the banks of the Xudum River – is a short drive from camp and sits overlooking an expansive rain-filled waterhole that homes hippo, crocodile and colourful birdlife. As the water recedes in the dry season, the plains turn into a rich grassland that attracts abundant game by day and night.

The upper deck is where you sleep under a canopy of mosquito netting and a starlit African night sky, while the lower deck provides easily accessible bathroom amenities. Your armed guide will sleep nearby in his own tent available at an instant to assist you or return you to camp should you decide to return to your own tent.
Camp Okavango

This luxury Sleep Out Deck is a brand-new addition to Camp Okavango, which sits on the remote Nxaragha Island, surrounded by water year-round. The deck is elevated to take advantage of the panoramic views while also keeping guests safe and protected from roaming wildlife. The deck is also fitted with a private toilet and mosquito nets, so you are completely sorted for your night out in the wilderness.

Dinaka Camp

The Sleep Out Deck at Dinaka Camp is just beyond the main camp grounds and affords a panoramic view of the Conservancy on the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The deck overlooks a sprawling canopy of acacia trees, and comfortably accommodates a double bed, seating area, and toilet amenities on one level. Like with Kanana Camp, you have an armed guide sleeping nearby in his own tent.

Awakening refreshed with the light of the new day, hot coffee and tea awaits, and can be enjoyed from the warm cocoon of your bed.
