We have just returned from a holiday of a lifetime, seven memorable nights in the Okavango Delta as a family. Glen assisted us in planning and securing the perfect itinerary but then COVID hit and our trip was not possible. For over a year he stayed in touch, keeping us up-to-date on developments in Botswana and it is thanks to Glen’s involvement and excellent communication that we could finally get there in May 2021 without any disappointments or penalties. The new COVID protocols can be daunting but Glen kept us informed of rule changes and we followed a step by step plan presented by him which made this aspect of the trip easy. Glen really knows how to look after his guests, from the personal welcome on arrival, taking us to the Pathology lab to be tested for COVID before our return to SA, to bringing our results to the airport, he was hands on all along. Thanks to his meticulous planning and ongoing communication we knew what to expect and felt confident to go ahead and visit Botswana during this time of COVID. The entire trip went seamlessly, with transfers well conducted and on time, and we were grateful to Glen for supporting us whilst we made the changes that were needed. We loved the lodges that he chose for us, they delivered on every level and all of them were perfectly suited to our group. We loved the scenery and settings, had excellent wildlife and bird sightings and received kind, attentive service wherever we went. This whole trip was an immense highlight for us from beginning to end.

We just had an extraordinary 2 days in the Delta, organized by Glen at Liquid Giraffe! We could not have been more happy! -from the wonderful flight to Splash Camp, the twice daily game drives, the option for a boat ride and wonderful food, drink and lodging! Of course, it’s always the people who make any trip the best! We are so thankful to Glen for encouraging us and arranging this trip for us. We feel so lucky to have experienced it all. Life is good!

Thanks to Glen and the team at Liquid Giraffe, we had a fantastic honeymoon to the Okavango Delta and Chobe in Botswana and Victoria Falls. When we had to rearrange our trip at the last minute because of a delayed passport, Glen helped us out and rearranged our trip for 7 months later. He was really reassuring when we were in such a bind and it was very comforting to have Liquid Giraffe there at such a crucial time. He was so helpful with his travel advice - from thoughts on driving across the border from Namibia, to where to stay and what activities to do. Our safari in the Delta (stayed at Oddballs camp) was especially magical and a once in a lifetime opportunity - it was the perfect place to stay and he helped us stay within our budget. All transfers from place to place and across borders went very smoothly. We couldn't have imagined a more amazing holiday and we're very grateful for the professional, friendly and personal help that we received from Liquid Giraffe along the way - thank you!

Last November I booked a safari trip to the Okawango delta with Liquid Giraffe. As many times before Glen and his team did a perfect job. Everything was perfect, they chose wonderful places. The detour to Linyanti marshes was their perferct idea regarding the especially dry conditions this year. The game sighting there was amazing. Organisation and service throughout the whole trip has been perfect. And when a delay at Joburg airport caused trouble to my itinerary Glen was there, at the phone, at Maun airport, and made things happen. Thank You, and be prepared: next time I will book with Liquid Giraffe again.

Thanks a million to Liquid Giraffe, Glen and Kesa, for helping with booking of campsites and lodges in Botswana as per my itinerary (self-drive Okavango Delta, Savuti and Chobe). Great trip! Thanks a million to the Liquid Giraffe Team, especially Glen and Kesa - you are real stars! We were on a self-drive camping trip through the Delta finishing it off at a beautiful lodge on the Chobe river were we had lots of cool drinks after the heat and dust along the trip. A true adventure, also thanks to Liquid Giraffe who helped a lot with bookings and organizing! We would have repeated the same trip immediately! Juan Cooper (Australia) - Just completed another outstanding trip to Africa with the help of Glen from Liquid Giraffe. This was our 3rd trip organised by Glen and we had a great time. He went out of his way to personalise the trip and we stayed at great places in Botswana and Zimbabwe. Will definitely be contacting Glen when we go back again. Love Africa.
