Ker & Downey Botswana’s luxurious new camp Dinaka is set to open March 2018.
The new lavishly splendid camp in Botswana, Dinaka, is set on an exclusive private reserve hugging the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Its setting is host to one of the most unique biodiversities in Southern Africa.
Here are just some of the things guests can look forward to at Dinaka:
Luxurious safari tents
The luxurious new camp consists of seven spacious twin and double-bedded safari tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower, hot and cold running water and flush toilet.
For the families, there’s also a two-bedroomed tent, sharing a spacious en-suite bathroom. The tented rooms are all raised up on wooden decks giving guests the perfect vantage point over a permanent water hole.
There will also be a sleep out deck where guests can spend the night under the magnificent African night sky.
Safari Activities at Dinaka
Guests will be treated to a range of wildlife spotting opportunities on morning and afternoon game drives. Some of the wildlife to look out for include the Kalahari lion, cheetah, leopard, brown hyena, giraffe and various types of antelope. The water holes offer spectacular photographic opportunities year-round.
If you want to get closer to nature, you can also explore on foot on a guided bush walk. For the avid birders, there are over 200 different bird species to discover including the Kori Bustard and Crimson Breasted Shrike and a high concentration of Pale Chanting Goshawks.
